1. There is only one Presence and one Power active as
the universe and as my life, God the Good.
2. Our essence is of God; therefore, we are inherently
good. This God essence, called the Christ, was fully
expressed in Jesus.
3. We are co-creators with God, creating reality through
thoughts held in mind.
4. Through prayer and meditation, we align our
heart-mind with God. Denials and affirmations are tools
we use.
5. Through thoughts, words and actions, we live the
Truth we know.
1. God is all good and active in everything, everywhere.
2. I am naturally good because God's Divinity is in me and in everyone.
3. I create my experiences by what I choose to think and what I feel and believe.
4. Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect with God and bring out the good in my life.
5. I do and give my best by living the Truth I know. I make a difference!
Testimonial
from a visitor to our church ...
A Letter of Thanks to Christ Light Unity Church written the 28th of April 2009.
After much persuasion on the part of my friend, I visited your church one Sunday. I surprised myself when I then found myself returning a second and third time. You see, I consider myself a “spiritual” person and not a “religious” person.
What I experienced filled my heart with Joy!
There were no “should”, “shouldn’t”, “can’t”, or “don’t”. There were positive “can do”, and “appreciate” messages. No “mistakes”, but a focus on “learning”. It was an atmosphere of equality, with “Ego” on erase and acceptance of self and others the practice. There were no “strangers”. Every single person had a smile on their face. Really – everyone. That was absolutely shocking to me in this serious world.
Attitude is everything and this congregation has great attitude… happiness and joy were obvious in the body language and I was made to feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was casual and comfortable. The music was upbeat and the spiritual message relevant and of reasonable length. The congregation appeared proud of their small family church and seemed genuinely friendly.
Will I join? I don’t really know! What I do know, however, is that I did not find hypocrisy. Since my initial visit I have had occasion to meet more of my friend’s friends who belong to Christ Light Unity. They are not the “Go to church on Sunday to make amends and do whatever you want the rest of the week” kind of people. They are people who are giving and forgiving. That is certainly refreshing in today’s world.
I will give membership serious consideration. Thanks for asking.
Sarah
